Ancient Dungeons Introduction

Please follow these instructions carefully to prevent messing up your game:

1. Make sure the folders LEVELS, DATA and LDATA are copied from your Dungeon Keeper CD
   into your local Keeper directory, and have the Path in keeper.cfg set to your local directory (editable with notepad)
2. Make backups of your map00001.*** files, and your creature.txt file, located respectivly in LEVELS and DATA.
   If you forget to do this, you can always copy them from your Dungeon Keeper CD again later, of course.
3. Rename the map00221.*** files located in this folder into map00001.*** and copy into your LEVELS folder, also copy
   creatures.txt in this folder into your DATA folder. Overwrite.
4. Depending on which species you wish to play as, Metilians, Grors, or Necromancers, copy the map00001.txt file from
   any of the three files in this folder into your LEVELS folder.
5. Start up Dungeon Keeper, click new game, and start the first level.
6. Enjoy :)


lastest modifications:

Metilians:
- Beetles turn into spiders after passing level 10
- Metilians (excluding warlocks) gain experience when sleeping next to gold
- Dragons can no longer train, but gain fast experience in actual combat

Grors:
- Defence of all creatures but tentacles has been lowered while strength has been increased, to create a clearer Berserker nature
- Fixed the creatures becoming angry from eating food
- Mistress' Drain was replaced by Lightning

Necromancers:
- none
